Join Susannah, a seasoned professional in metal detecting, as she guides you through the foundational steps of this rewarding hobby. With experience spanning across the United States and England, Susannah has made significant discoveries, including an undiscovered Bronze Age smelting site. Her dedication to metal detecting research and practice dates back to 1980. She has conducted introductory courses in metal detecting for the St. Louis County library system, the Jefferson County library system, the Missouri Civil War Museum, and the Gateway Metal Detecting Club.
Susannah’s Metal Detecting Basics class covers a range of topics, including techniques, tips, equipment, safety, legalities, research methods, hunting locations, and other valuable resources.
We invite you to a session that promises to be both enjoyable and enlightening!
The class is open to individuals aged 12 and above. Participants aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
