Found by Lee N. and Tom R.: “Went with Lee to a abandoned house in Soulard and found the normal stuff but also found an amusement token six inches down with ATPro. It reads on one side “property of vender” and on the other side ” loaned for amusement only”. Plus a one dollar token from the Palace Station, Las Vegas. Found it two inches down.”
Found by Tom R. and Lee N.: “Lee and I found these this morning at an old high school. Found with an AT Pro, all at about four inches . Brass weight for a scale, spent 40 cal. hollow point bullet, a small brass buckle, outer plate, a copper letter “D” that was found in the bushes, and the gun which turned out to be a pellet gun.”
Found by Pat R.: Swinging on Sunday! Silver coins and a silver bracelet with Eddie’s name. Street address is on the back of the bracelet. Located 2-6″ deep with an AT Pro. Will see if I can locate the owner or family.
Found by Bill S.: “Yale & Towne Mtg. Co. Lever- Tumbler cast bronze padlock -1 1/2 inch size no. 833 Est. 1868”. Found 5″ deep using White’s TreasurePro.
Found by Jim H.: “I found this decapitated head, hammerhead, lock, buckle, coins, and unknown object about 3-4 inches down with a Fisher F-22. The object has a screw top, a glass globe, and the shaft is hollow. Don’t know what it is.”
The decapitated figurine head, found by Jim Hammond, looks to me to be Worlds Fair 1904. You can check out the Worlds Fair section at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park.
