Found by Lee N.: “Went out solo today. Cool temps,
but ground was like concrete. Found 2-4 inches, using
Ace 250, 10 inch nail, stainless dinnerware knife, rusty
triangle plate with some lettering and 52 cents in
clad. All clad found in coin spill, which is always a
lot of fun.”

Found by Bill S.: “Morning hunt results in a couple of “first finds” for me. 1st Silver (1960 D Roosevelt dime) & 1st Tootsietoy (1940’s Convertible) and a bonus 3 wheat cents (1926, 1935 & 1945).”

Found by Lee N.: “Tom R. and I went out for a couple of hours today. Hot with soft digging, from the rain. I found 1947-D wheatie, 83 cents clad, part of toy gun, 19th century door jamb latch, stainless steel spoon and unidentifiable rusty objects. Items found 2-4 inches deep, with Ace 250.”

Found by Ron P.: “Attached is a photo of items that I found at a private permission site between 7/11/17 and 8/15/17. The items were found between 2 and 3 inches deep using my Garrett AT Pro.
There are a total of 133 modern coins totaling $23.36 in face value. The break down is 1 Martin Van Buren $1 coin, 78 quarters, 24 dimes, 4 nickels, and 15 copper and 11 zinc memorial pennies. Among the other items are 2 bullets, a pocket knife, an aluminum religious metal and child’s ring. There is also a railroad flattened penny and one machine flattened from the Mark Twain Museum in Hannibal, MO.”

Mystery Hunt #2: Tom R.: Old chain, carriage bolt, broken files, a 1lb horn weight, a hay rake lock identified by property owner, and a piece of folded copper that was a foot down. No car parts, Kathy H., just farm parts. LOL

Found by Lee N.: “Hot and dry, but went out anyway for short dig. Found 2-3 inches deep, wheel gear, with numbers 1-16 on outer rim, 2 spent cartridges stamped DEN 43, steel ball bearing, unidentified rusty objects and 30 cents in clad. I used my Ace 250 and pin pointer.”

1930’s Barclay action figures, “Nickel Silver” belt buckle, a couple of early 1900’s Winchester shotgun headstamps, and 54 cents in modern coins. Items found using White’s TreasurePro at depths from near surface to 6 inches.”
